We have been lifelong animal lovers and dog owners - but never bulldog owners until about eight years ago. And similar to how we have found bulldogs engender a unique kind of love and reaction, we have found they are unique to care for, understand and own. As much research as we did, we learned along the way...sometimes some pretty hard lessons! And we keep learning...

With the increasing popularity of this wonderful breed, we want to humbly share our experiences. Before we take the responsibility to care for any living being, we should all go in with 'eyes wide open' and aware of the challenges the task can bring. And, of course, the absolute joy. There are plenty of informational sites and forums out there that are great, and that we have no aim to re-create. Things like the breed standard, clubs, shows - all of that we'll try to refer you to - but we'll instead try to focus on the basic, plain insight that we, as owners, have come to value. What kind of stuff do they like? What food works? Who are the best vets? What the heck is "screw tail'? We have far too much respect for the challenges of being a good breeder to attempt it ourselves - so we wanted to share the love of bulldogs and what knowledge we have come across in the simple ways we can, like this site.

Finally, we also started this site because, sometimes, people (even the ones as fortunate as we are to go home to a bulldog) want to just spend some time looking at The Best Bulldogs in the world...which are, really, any one of 'em.
